CPDiGu17-2oz2 Ounce (62.2 gram) Rough Australian Opal Parcel

I'd not heard of Diggers Gully previous to this years Oz trip, but my opal reference book states it was first worked in 1973 and most of the opal is said to be alluvial?? Haven't heard of alluvial opal in Australia. Anyway FYI...that's the source of this opal.
This is a two ounce parcel of opal from the photographed 12 ounce parcel...12 ounces won't last long. For a one ounce (31.1 gram) parcel see another listing. Small to medium sized stones with a mix of colors.
2 Ounce/62.2 gram parcel. Scale=20mm.
