SSB19Rough Belemnite-Shellpatch

I do love Belemnites!! These fossils lived during the cretaceous period and are found in weathered Bulldog Shale at the Shellpatch Field 30 kilometers north of Coober Pedy. Very nice fossil with some great red/blue/green multi-color fire. I left this stone untouched for specimen collectors. That's not to say it wouldn't make be a wonderful pick for a jewelry project. Or just to cut and polish for your private collection. And carvers take note...this would be a great project with less waste. 6.8 grams. 38mm x 14mm in diameter. $136.00.
