Bright, smaller sized rough opal from 11 Mile Opalfield...about 11 Miles north of Coober Pedy...also known as Greek Gully Opalfield. 11 Mile Opalfield, discovered in 1963, is a large opalfield, located on both sides of the Stuart Highway, and is a reliable producer of smaller pockets of bright stable opal...known as a "tucker" field (Aussie slang for food).
